The Environment

In my search to be less combative, I realized, Oh, that’s probably because I’ve been debating Dad forever. See, once the older boys left the house, I finally got some airtime at the dinner table, and that’s when the convos about politics started.

In my new obsession about God, I pretty much don’t care about politics other than that whole forceps thing.

In my search to be less argumentative, I stopped attempting to tell people what to do with their lives.

But I do talk to my boo about what kind of environment we want to raise our kids in.

A family friend told me recently that because of global warming, people are going to be migrating to Canada and all their natural resources. I said, OOOOH, so the final frontier is in Canada, not space!

I’ve never worried much about it because ah, heck, I figure God is going to bring the world to an end in His good time. I really just love people, people, people. They are the pinnacle of God’s creation, after all. Maybe me and my boo will end up going up there and teaching those French wussies about the true definition of freedom.

I told him early on, You know, America is the land of the free where all of your hopes and dreams come true!

Freedom, of course, is the freedom to choose God. Every minute, every hour, every day.

You pray for me, I will pray for you, we will meet again in Heaven, how about that?

Excelsior, my friend! Ever higher!
