This weekend, I read Jennifer Fulwiler’s Something Other than God: How I Passionately Sought Happiness and Accidentally Found It. At times laugh-out-loud funny, at other times sickening, it shows what the Catholic Church offers modern Americans. I particularly enjoyed reading how she and her husband came to faith each in their own way… but ah heck, I won’t ruin the story for you.
