Deliverance
What I realized with great joy in December is that God has delivered me from every evil in this life.
And delivered me, and delivered me, and delivered me.
Even after hydroplaning off the road and my dad couldn’t come, strange men stopped to offer help and crawled around in the mud to get my car on the road again.
Even the dark stormy night when a man hit my car and ran like a coward, and I stood there in the rain in a bad end of town, fuming. I had run out of the house leaving my phone with my mom. I begged a phone off a nearby stranger, and all he did was give me help.
What I have seen of true evil is mostly that of others.
What I have felt in pain is mostly by watching others.
What I have learned, if I have achieved any wisdom in this life, is by observing others.
